went t universal studio w dear dear on 26jan
it was awesome!!!
although it rained and rained
always wanted t go t universal studio
bt i couldnt find th time
thn i can only make it on 26jan
a day before orientation for jc
(ps:it is a bad choice t go t theme park a day before sch cos o suffered frm muscle ache th next day)
gah...
bt universal studio is quite fun
went for almost all th rides

well th day started w dear dear n me waking up early and taking th mrt t harbourfront
and thn we went t vivocity t gt th tickets t enter sentosa
and out of 4 ticket dispenser machine
only 1 was wrking whn we arrived
bt aft awhile tt ticket machine was no longer wrking
and th humans stepped in and starting selling th tickets
well i have t praise and b proud of our human race
as it was really efficient and so much faster thn th machine
and th line of ppl was cleared real fast
and so we gt our tickets and headed for waterfront station
and whn we reach thr i saw candy empire
and we took lots of picture thr
with th candy tree thingy and those huge M&M
and thn we take pic w th huge "universal studio"globe
and thr were lots of rides and show over thr
well,th rides and shws featured thr were:

ROLLER COASTER(th big one)

dear dear n me didnt go for this roller coaster
it consists of "human" and "cylon"(i dont knw if its spelt correctly)
cos as all of you would have known th ride is nt open t public yt
bt i saw th test run for th roller coaster
and it looked so cool
i heard tt it might open aft chinese new year..
so all ppl out thr who havent go t universal studio yet
should wait for th roller coaster t open
and you all can go and enjoy yourselves on those fast and crazy turns..

CANOPY RIDE

well th canopy ride was a total disaster and i didnt gt t sit on th ride
as it was closed for th whole day
cos aft queuing for th rides for quite sme time
dear dear n me finally gt on th ride
thn as we were leaving th station in th capsule
just above th safety net whr our feet are dangling in th air
thn th ppl working thr said system shut down
and i was like
"so what are we suppose t do nw?"
thn th ppl working thr formed a cluster and had their own commotion
aft awhile thy decided t shift us higher into th air
and tts what thy did..
and thr were mre commotion among them
and thn thy decide t bring us dwn
aft 20minutes
whn th solution was just t roll up th metal plate and we can cme dwn
gah..
abit inefficient
lucky th othr 2 passengers on th capsules w us are adults
so no one cried
bt if thr was a kid on th ride
it would b disastrous
however evry cloud has its silver lining
so th positive part of getting stuck up thr is getting a complimentary vip ticket
and th ticket allows dear dear n me t gt on rides without queuing up
i dont knw if i can b used mre thn once
bt me n dear dear didnt use it at all
cos all th rides have no long queue
so we kept th tickets for momento altho its like a size of a receipt and it feels like a receipt too..

THE MUMMY RIDE

dear dear and me sat on this ride for 3 times
cos tt day's weather wasnt exactly favourable for outdoor activites
and since th ride is quite thrilling and we took th advantage of it being an indoor roller coaster
we went for th ride again n again
and due t our enthusiasm
our backs hurt th next day
as th seats for th rides were relatively hard
and th constant sharp turning and twisting n knocking against th back of th seat caused me t have blue black for th next few days
bt it is still a v.enjoyable ride and it is my favourite spot
out of all th rides and shows at USS..

RATING:9.5/10 (for th strong-hearted it is a MUST TRY,bt for th weak-hearted you dont want t miss this awesome ride too..)

TREASURE HUNTER

dear dear and me went for this ride
and took lots of pictures
this ride it is quite interactive altho abit kiddish
as you actually gt t drive yr wagon around th tracks
and take pictures of th artifacts and animals in th site
(ps:dear dear n me only realise tt we can drive at th last 1.5m and we experience lots of bumps n knocks on th ride for we didnt control our wagon)
th wagon has a roof
so its okay t go for this ride evn whn its raining
well thats what dear dear n me did..
and you knw what?
dear dear n me gt lucky whn we came dwn frm th wagon
cos we had lots of shopping w us
so this guy wrking thr decide t help us remove th shopping frm th wagon
and while passing us th shopping
he passed us a 5dollar nte
and said it belonged t us
it wasnt mine
and dear dear said it's nt his too
so we told th person tt it wasnt ours
bt th person insisted tt it was ours
so what choice did we have?
othr thn take th money and spend it..
so t who ever who lost their 5dollars on th TREASURE HUNTER ride
its nt our fault..hehe.
finders keepers,losers weepers.
well we werent exactly th one who found it..
so to all those ppl out thr who might b interested in this ride
dont worry this is a v.slow ride
so elderly ppl and kids can enjoy this ride too
th wagon can sit up t 4 ppl only
regardless of age
and you all must definitely bring yr camera along
cos thr are quite sme stuff for you t take pics of
and dont lose yr money on th ride..

RATING:6/10 (cos its pretty slow n kiddish)

MADAGASCAR MERRY GO ROUND

well,this was th first ride dear dear n me sat on
it was quite fun as it was my first time sitting on a merry go round this size
cos normally th merry go round i sit for is in th pasar malam
those tiny ones..
so it was a cool experience altho i gt dizzy aftwards
i v.lousy right?
actually th spinning was v.mild i guess in just sensitive t th spinning
and dear dear and me took alot of pictures of th animals on th ride
its a pretty fast ride
and v.safe
as thr are seatbelts for evryone on those taller animals
so parents can definitely bring yr kids thr

RATING:5/10(the deco are nice)

SHREK FAR AWAY LAND ROLLER COASTER

well tt was th first roller coaster ride we sat on thr
it was pretty thrilling
before we went for th mummy ride
it was fast and th turns were relatively sharp too
and you will have different experience
depending on whether you are sitting on th front or th back
and evn left or right
well.tts what dear dear and me experience..
i think th right side is mre thrilling..esp whn you sit at th back of th dragon
one interesting thing is tt whenever we sat on tt ride it RAINED..
and once we gt off it stopped raining
and whn we decided t go on th ride again
it rained again
and thr was light shower throughout th whole day
and heavy rain were on and off w intervals like 5-10min
so whn we were on th ride.
thr was strong wind
and big raindrops
so th raincoat we were wearing were of no use
as th wind blew it backwards
and expose us t th pitter patter of th raindrops
bt we were happy t gt drenched again n again
its a v.short ride
and an advice for all of you out thr
pls do bring a raincoat along whn you go t universal studio
as it is v.useful
and for us who forgt t bring our raincoat
th disposable raincoat thr is our best investment
as it allows us t continue playing and walking in th universal studio despite th heavy rain
th disposable raincoat is sold at $2 for adult
and $1 for children
th best part is tt thr is th logo n words "universal studio"
printed on th back of th raincoat
so you all can keep as a souvenir
which is what i did..haha

WATER RIDE AT JURASSIC PARK

it was quite a fun ride..
we sat in this big float thingy w seats and seat belts
thn we were washed out of th station by th currents
and we float and float into a park and look at th damaged buildings and dinosaurs
thn we entered this really dark tunnel w red flashing lights and th dinosaurs roar
it was pretty scary as this is th first time we are sitting for this ride
and we were facing th wrong direction and we dont knw what t expect
so everyone in th float were cowering in th float
afraid tt any random dinosaur's poop might fall down on us
so we travel for a few min through th pitch black tunnel
until we reach this place whr our float was being raise up by this elevator
and thn thr was a bright flash of light
and we realised tt thr was a huge T-REX w a huge mouth trying t eat us
actually i realised tt whn we were leaving th elevator
cos th light was too bright
when i first looked up
i couldnt see a single thingy
we left th elevator by sliding dwn th slide
tt was th only thrilling part
cos its smewhat like a roller coaster going backwards
its nt a very long ride
a relatively short one
bt you all must rmb t wear your raincoats if you dont want t gt wet(:

4D SHREK SHOW

this is a very cool show
i dont think thy took th show frm any parts of th movie
cos i dont rmb seeing any part of tt shw before
yes..i watched every season of SHREK..
its pretty cool as whn one of th character,i wont reveal who,sneezees
water or at least tts what i thought it was sprayed on us
thn you can hear EEEWWW sounding throughtout th theatre
and tt character sneezed twice..
thn we all had a bumpy ride whn shrek and donkey rode in th carriage going after fiona
and thy had black rubbery tape at th bottom of th seats t swish around
when spiders appeared on th screen
it feels just like th spiders are really at yr feet.

DONKEY LIVE SHOW

well.i must say this is th coolest n bestest live show i have ever been to
th host is funny n pretty while donkey is HILARIOUS
i was picked out by donkey t have a talk w him
th convo went smething like this:

ppl normally go for vowing in wedding gown n suit
well dear dear n me gt married in "plastic"
thus all of you should go thr t have so fun n laugh yr asses off
whn donkey tease ppl
just hope tt you are nt being teased
cos it will b damn embarrassing as thy have a small tv
on th left of th hall
whr everyone can see yr face
big n clear
bt it was a pretty cool experience

lots of people say tt this is a place w great performance
bt dear dear n me didnt go
cos we went for th donkey live shw
thy say th water works are really cool
so you all shld really go and watch th show
bt you all must plan n manage yr time well as thr are only 2 shows
thrs one at 4pm anothr at 2plus i think
cant rmb
bt th timings are on this piece of board outside th water world.

whn we took pic w her.her hand accidentally flipped up her skirt

thy were doing retarded movements
and are dressed in weird bright colourd skin tight clothing

we took pics w them just for fun

he tried scaring dear dear
and apparently he failed
thn he tried scaring me by nudging me
and he failed again
in th end
he just took th pic w us like a gd little boy

he is really fat n soft

cos it makes me look thin
